#Talking about the theory to discuss in my topic I have chosen the cult of celebrity, First of all Beats by Dr.Dre is a product most of the celebrity use. Buying a beats products an ordinary people can feel the experience of being a celebrity as most of all the celebrity use beats headphones. The sound quality of the headphone makes people like they are the music maker as they can hear the perfect sound.
These beats headphone are used by music makers and it generates perfect sound quality. People follow what their icon follows, Celebrity are the icons of fans and thus people follow them as people believe in what their icon follows.
Beats by Dr. Dre is in rise these days and now there are hardly music lovers who don’t owe a pair of these headphones.Either they are a DJ or a music artist or a music lover they use it because fan believes their celebrity and what they uses.
#The most interesting finding from my analysis is the rise of counterfeit beats with the rise of the original Dr. Dre beats. Well this is a serious crime as people can’t get the qualitative sound with the counterfeit headphones.
Likewise the series of beats headphones are the findings of the analysis, from the analysis I got to know about different series of headphones namely Just beats, Heartbeats, Monster beats, Detox. These series of headphone has their own character as they output the music accordingly. These headphones are the most durable headphones as it comes with monster audio.
# Besides music I will take these beats product for communicating for the conference call, As well I will be aware about the counterfeit beats products as these beats are the most expensive headphones created. These headphones features and the use of series for the right music generation.

The rise of beats is increasing day by day, different features are summed up when a new series of beats is launched. A new series of beats headphones includes perfection about the quality of music. Beats headphones are further made so that the listener can get what artist listen in the studio. The looks of the new headphones are great they are manufactured with new styles and shapes. The shape of new headphones makes it to be more light and portable. The look varies from the older ones. They can be connected to any device with standard headphone plug.
Beats by Dr. Dre are using its audio in different gadgets nowadays for instance HTC Smartphones, HP laptops, the quality of music is improving day by day. These headphones have let people listen to music what an artist gets in a studio as well it’s a great quality regarding its sound to communicate.
Not to forget about the quality and durability, these headphones lasts for a long period. The series “ heartbeats” has a different shape which attracts the population of female users, Likewise Detox series comes all black in color which is faded in nature and it attracts a customer to get one.
Beats are coming up with new features and ideas which attracts as well satisfies its user thus  I agree with what theory beats by Dr. Dre imply as well agree that beats by Dr. Dre is great when it comes about audio.

For assignment 1-3-2 I have chosen the journal, "Cinematic Carcerality: Prison Metaphors in Film" from The Journal of Popular Culture, Vol. 44, No. 2, 2011. To talk about the writer Jan Alber, he is a writer and a professor. The journal article reviews about prison metaphors, metaphors in Film and the use of metaphors in the film.
Jan here describes about a couple of metaphors that sustain in prison, first one is that who welcomes individual to view prison as different thing while the other is that explains a domain of the outer life in sense of prison. To illustrate of the first metaphors one that who welcomes individual to view prison. This particular part metaphors use is the parts that physically take place in jail. One of the major illustrations Alber here describes is jails are regarded womb as well as a tomb. It’s how you take, to view through womb part one can describe how life is in prison by being there itself and from tomb side it describes being in prison is more like being in hell.  Now the one which explains domain of the outer world as a prison, Jan describes how these metaphors are attained in other types of plots as well as it tend to look more on the restraint by human action. To explain this further it’s like when one’s presence is not physically in jail but the feeling being stacked likewise, Employment and marriage can be related to this.
Further to go through film metaphor, the journal article describes that past critics did not believe about film metaphors to be possible though they are possible. The article more describes about seven various ways of extracting metaphors in film, here I have described two ways which are the most interesting. Firstly the idea of matching shots. This means presenting two various things as being alike in any way like the use of camera from the same angle as well as movements or context also, the next fine illustration can be the Nazis and the offensive posts being the same as they are both precisely in order with both lacking emotions, Second instance would be people taking place with high wire fencing walls, as well as bars that makes a place look like one.
Likewise the journal article describes illustration of how these prison metaphors are utilized.  The movie named, “The Shawshank Redemption” can be taken as an illustration of the term womb vs. Tomb idea. Here the movie describes new life when they enter into the prison for the first time while the movie describes prisons as the most difficult place like hell as prisoners are tortured physically as well as mentally.
In the film, “The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Runner” Colin who’s the main character here is treated as a prisoner by his own mother. Here the movie portrays Collin’s house like prison because the house is bounded by big walls. Also the movie depicts how one considers their working class to be a prison.
Finally Jan concludes saying films consists of metaphors both positive as well as negative, While recognition of the message from the film is the most important thing. I believe in movies that uses these sorts of metaphors as the movies with metaphors are interesting and it leads to be a good movie. Prison metaphors are used in many movies and it leads to make a successful movie.

The word hero is defined as “a person celebrated for his bold exploits” or “a person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose (The American Heritage Dictionary, 1994). When it comes about the topic “Hero”, It’s not applicable to my topic “Beats by Dr. Dre”. But the idea of making this product is the main, thus the founder himself is the hero here. This product is a huge success for specially music lovers and the communicators. To illustrate by example, people who use beats products and are touched with it for them the founder Dr. Dre and  Jimmy Iovine are the heroes are they influence them to use it and they are satisfied with the quality of these products.
While Celebrity is defined as “a famous person or a renowned person” (The American Heritage Dictionary, 1994) to describe about the cult of celebrities is applied here more often, Beats by Dr. Dre includes different well known faces, to the list they are Dr. Dre, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber. They have their own named products as a series, Heart beats headphone are made in the name of Lady Gaga while Just Beats represents Justin Bieber, Fan’s of these celebrities are bound to use these products as these fans are their idols and they believe that what they use is the most important. While people have a belief that the products used by celebrities are no doubt a reliable one in terms of sound and durability.
Finally to sum up we came to know that the only heroes about this product is the founder who invented it, Namely Dr. Dre and  Jimmy Iovine. They are heroes for people because this influence people buy these products. While celebrities who are linked with these products has led their fans to create a cult as their fans believes in those products what they use. This always  may not be always true because some celebrity is only paying for the advertisement. You can only be sure about the quality of these products by using it and experiencing it.

Written Analysis II

A trend that is developed in a society or a community is defined as Ritual. About my popular culture i.e. Rise of beats by Dr. Dre, Only Ritual is that when one looks for a headphone they look for beats products. Other than that Rituals are not yet in practice for this products as it’s a new inventions. May be in the near future this may take a height as ritual as it’s been in rise day by day.
Stereotype is a thinking that may or may not be true towards anything. To link up Stereotype in my topic, Rise of beats by Dr. Dre, I’ve chosen positive Stereotype to quote with illustration I have taken two examples such as when you see a people with beats then there is a stereotype that s/he is a music lover/artist. These beats products include high quality sound system and thus they are either used by music lovers or music professional to create music but this may not be true as some are passionate about beats products for its look. Likewise another Stereotype about these products is that once you buy it last long this makes people to think that it lasts long because of its quality headphone from a branded audio maker Monster.
To talk about my analysis about rituals and Stereotype about beats products, I learned that as its new trend rituals are not in practice yet while to talk about Stereotype, it’s a thinking that may or may not be true towards anything, while in my case I’ve quoted positive rituals about beats like people think they are only used by music lover or professional and there is thinking that they last long but they might not be true as they may be damaged and the one to owe may get hurt.
